Product Description

My name is Zoe McKinley. I have a boring life, an awful job, and a boss that throws staplers at my head. What could be worse?

How about being abducted by Aliens?

Being dragged through a mirror, naked and screaming, onto an extraterrestrial ship was bad. Finding out I had been sold to a huge alien male who looks like the Devil was worse. But learning he wanted to trade me to an intergalactic petting zoo was the worst of all!

Now I'm whizzing through the galaxy with a robot butler, a trio of nib-nibs (they're like tiny green monkeys) and one huge, muscular, and very grumpy alien. The clothing they gave me shows all my lady-bits, the food-sim makes banana cream pie that tastes like sauerkraut, and Sarden, my captor, is too hot to stay mad at, even if he is a jerk.

In fact, I think I might be falling for him.

What's a girl to do? It's all in a day's work when you've been...Abducted.

***Abducted is Book 1 in my Alien Mate Index series.
It is a plus-sized novel--140,000 words long***

The Alien Mate Index--Learn more
From the pen of Evangeline Anderson, the writer who brought you Brides of the Kindred, comes a new race of Alien warriors…twelve races, to be exact.

Everyone thinks that life just evolved on Earth—
Wrong.
Our planet, and twelve others, all capable of supporting Terran life, was seeded by the Ancient Ones.
Then Earth was locked away, kept safe in the cocoon of our ozone layer. But now there’s a gaping hole in our security blanket and guess who’s coming to dinner?
That’s right—the Alien warriors of the Twelve Peoples—also descended from the Ancient Ones, are looking for mates and Earth girls are their first choice.

The Vorn are feared throughout the galaxy. Savage, horned warriors, these males can be surprisingly gentle to the females they choose to bond with.
Denarins come in pairs—two muscular males who share a psychic bond... and feel the need to share one woman as well.
The Majorans worship their females as goddesses, the very color of their skin changing with their bonded mate’s mood.
Braxians are savage with black-on-white eyes that can see every spectrum of light. They will defend their females to the last drop of blood in their huge, blue bodies.

And there are more…so many more Alien warriors to pick from.
Which type of male would you choose?
Too bad you won’t have a choice, because thanks to the Alien Mate Index, an agency that abducts Earth brides for alien males, you could be snatched at any time and turned into a massive warrior’s mate or concubine.
So the real question is—who will choose you?

I have to say that I found Abducted to be thoroughly enjoyable. I loved all the sci-fi references to other books, tv series and movies. I was I bit confused when it got to the scene on Gallana. I kept thinking that I had read it before. When I thought about it I realised that it strongly resembled a scene from one of my other author's books. Well, they do say that immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.I should also mention that I received this book from Instafreebie which in no way affects my review!
This is a funny, light hearted book which keeps you engrossed until the end. It has its share of villains and our intrepid heroine, Zoe, manages to thwart them all with the aid of our trusty hero, Sarden! I'm sure that, just like me, you won't be able to wait to get the next book!
Happy reading

I really enjoyed this Alien abduction story. I liked the way Zoe reacts to her capture and the adventures she has - the happy ending is nice, it is a full length novel and very hard to put down.

My Rating: FIVE DIVINELY ENTERTAINING STARS*****
Wow! There's just no other way to start this review so I'll say it again - WOW! I love, love, love this book. Evangeline Anderson has wowed her readers with Abducted, the first release in her exciting new Alien Mate Index Series from Evangeline Anderson and she totally rocked my world - again! Oops...said it again but I just can't help myself. What can I say, she wowed me. Sorry, I couldn't resist. But in all honesty, I think I've died and gone to alien heaven.... populated, of course with twelve alien races from the incredibly imaginative mind of Evangeline Anderson. And folks, it just doesn't get any better than this in the science fiction romance genre! A few months ago, I was trolling some of my favorite book discussion groups on Facebook looking for something to read and stumbled upon a recommendation from Mina Carter for Switched, a new release from Evangeline Anderson. Well, Mina Carter has been one of my favorite authors for years so when she recommends a book, I pay attention. Naturally, I checked it out on Amazon and sure enough, it sounded exactly like my cup of tea. My taste in books is very eclectic. There isn't much I don't enjoy reading but I truly love romance, adore science fiction and will totally devour anything with action and adventure. When I can find each of those elements in one story, well, I'm in heaven! And that's exactly what Evangeline Anderson did in Switched.

I loved how earth had brought this on ourselves, what a fascinating mix of fact and fiction. Especially Zoe's wants in using the holographic room. What a laugh, I was right alongside her on that one. WOW, what fun that would be. Pity it couldn't do these things.
I laughed my head off at Zoe using the toilet.
Zoe is a great heroine, smart, feisty and amusing with no poor me attitude which I hate. She just gets on with doing what she has too. Try to escape.
I just had one BIG problem with Zoe and that was she is very smart but does the most stupidest thing you could do on an alien planet. Zoe takes off on an alien planet of which she knows nothing of its people, culture or rules. She just became TSTL (too stupid to live) for some reason when she followed Count Delosoro into the street. Don’t care about the Nib Nib’s, the fact she did die says it all. Confused, read the book. This and some waffling about her feelings were the only down sides.
Really liked Sarden, he was in a terrible position trying to save his sister. The fact he was going to return Zoe to earth after finding a different way to save his sister says a lot about his good heart and intentions.
They were both likeable and had similar hardships in their childhoods.
All in all a really good, interesting alien story that hits a lot of good spots for me.
Awaiting book two for further information on the La-Ti-Zal powers.
