After weeks of researching online comparisons I decided to order this ASUS C425 Chromebook because I hoped it represented the best value for money of speed , memory, screen size and aesthetics - best decision ever !
I basically wanted something like a Macbook Air without the exorbitant price and only need it for basic internet surfing, banking etc - this ASUS Chromebook is perfect !
The more reviews you read the more pros and cons there are from the experts to confuse you - but if you are looking for a high quality "laptop type" device that you can use on a daily basis for emails, internet, games etc this is ideal.
It doesn't feel cheap, it looks great, the screen is bright, and it's super fast.
The only negatives are the backlit keyboard which is useless because when it's on you can't see the letters on the keyboard so you just turn it off, and no it's not touchscreen but I decided I'd rather pay extra for bigger storage and performance compared to cheaper Chromebooks - good decision.
Excellent product and of course the deal breaker for me was the built in virus protection - perfect.
