Rick can write. I think he can write well. But this isn’t a stellar example. It’s readable, worthy even of picking up each night till it’s done, but it lacks detail and I even noticed a couple of errors in the storyline detail which shouldn’t have gotten passed the editors. I’ll be finding a different author now.

protagonists. I couldnt read the whole thing had to skip though the last half. The scenarios depicted are quite ridiculous. Eg. The ex navy seal is not proficient in anything. Trips over, drops guns, doesn't win a fight and needs the other guys girl friend to tell them they are being kidnapped. Weak story don't bother

I fell for the Amazon blurb again.......Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2019
The book had an interesting premise, but in fact it was dreadfully simplistic and poorly written, with characters making declamatory statements that would embarrass a superhero movie script. Typos didn’t help, but overall I felt like a ten-year-old being told a story by my dad who was making it up as he went along.

A Slow starterReviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 March 2021
I found it difficult to get in to this book. I was expecting the same excitement I had when I read the early Clive Cussler's, but this was missing. Maybe my tastes are changing. However in the final third I was grabbed by the story.
It's no Da Vinci Code far from it.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 July 2020
I was not able to finish the book, I might try again at a later date. It never made me want to read on, I did not enjoy the story, found it disjointed and hard work.
If you have read Clive Cussler don't bother with thisReviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 January 2021
Far too much like Clive Cussler books for my liking. Well written but not as good as the CD books
