Keela and Alex are hilarious. I love their antics and if anyone deserves an amazing partner it is these two. They both had a tough life. This book would have been 5 stars for me except for the hotel scene in the Bahamas. I found this so hard to get past even in later books. I think the same point could have been made without it needing to go that far. And why did she stay in the cupboard and not come out swinging. I get he was worried for his brothers but why didn’t he talk to her about it before rather than after.
Sorry love these two characters and these Slater books are hilarious but this scene just won’t leave my mind and has tainted it and one of my favourite characters for me, I really don’t know how Keela got past it. I understand the importance of the plot point but I think I would have liked it a little less strongly made as this has left holes and questions for me and has distracted me from the rest of the book.
Love the Slater series though
