For Desktop or Laptop Setups
Some USB hub cables are so incredibly short they almost defeat the purpose of convenience. With two full feet of cable and cable tie, you can adjust the length to perfectly suit your laptop or desktop workstation.
No matter which way you bend or twist, this cable will stay firmly connected to the USB hub; even wrapped up inside a bag.
Save Desk Space
An incredibly compact design saves on clutter, leaving room for all those accessories you’ll be plugging in.

I'll get a more appropriate model. I have other Anker products which I like, so I'm sure there is something. Have to also check the computer USB 3 specs

It is probably come about through an OS upgrade and I am reduced to taking the SD card out and putting it in the computer. It is something that I don't like doing as you could damage the contacts.
However, the new USB hub by Anker is perfect for my set up as, unlike the one it replaces, it takes its' power from the computer and not from a mains transformer/plug. It is small and unobtrusive, apart from the lead which I have already mentioned.
Once the digital camera problem is resolved it should give excellent service.
* minimalist design
* lightweight and portable
* gives you more USB ports!
* pretty reasonable price
What i dislike:
* that cable still isnt long enough for me :P
Got this on offer so pretty pleased with it so far, even if i still have stretch to reach it, but certainly beats having to move the whole desktop to access the ones at the back, so a win from me!
I used some no more nails stickers to attach it to the underside of my desk so that I can plug in my mouse, keyboard and mousepad and free up ports on my mobo (yes I am one of the sad people with an RGB mouse mat).
The 2ft cable is still very short as I am sure it is not intended to be used so far away from the computer, more likely meant to be for laptops or macbooks in a home office laptop setup. I had a spare extension cable lying around but it would be best to use a 3.0 cable if you are buying for the same reason as me to reduce latency.
Currently I have 3 high power consumption RGB products plugged in and they seem to work perfectly for now although when my keyboard is plugged into it there is a slight high pitched whine but if you place it far enough away, you wont hear it over the sound of your fans anyway.
I highly recommend this product and own a few other anker products too, they never fail to disappoint!
The dongle itself is very light, the cable has the traditional thick rubbery feel of Anker's basic products and is sufficiently long to snake around a laptop for example. It's flat angular design means some edges are sharper than you'd expect but considering this'll be lying at the bottom of a stack of cables, it isn't too much of a drain.
One important thing to consider is this has power implications that are included in the box. Connect a USB charger for your phone and you'll see that the phone chargers extremely slowly. So for my use I've limited it to connected USB peripherals like keyboard, mice and the wireless receivers for those devices
I browsed different models but this one came to my attention and bought it.
I can say i made the right choice ,it works out of the box ,very small not bulky .
I will highly recommend others to buy this one as it is of really good quality .
Instructions provided were clear & concise and provided links + telephone numbers for 18 month limited warranty and Lifetime technical support.
The hub itself is very lightweight but seems reasonably sturdy with both the USB Plug & the 4 sockets providing a snug fit to all peripherals I've used with it; the cable is a good length (57cm) & also a good thickness so I don't expect to see any issue with wire fatigue causing the wiring to break. Data Transfer speeds and device connectivity have so far (a week of daily use) been excellent with no issues experienced.
Compared to the pricing point of some of the alternative brands this is very competitively priced and well worth the money.
I'm running a gaming mouse and keyboard, as well as a DAC/AMP combo and a wireless headset dongle and I, 've not had any input issues or any other dealy or drops in quality using this hub.
This is a great cheap item and does exactly what I needed it too!
Lightweight and slim
4 USB's instead of 1.
Perfect for a monitor where usb slots are harder to reach.
Light that tells you when it is connected.
Lead could have been longer.
Great product and very practical I would definitely recommend.
If you found this review helpful, I would appreciate a thumbs up:)
Anker never stops dishing out best products in the market for the best price - I as a consumer have their micro USB charger, usb-c charger, wireless earphones and now the USB 3.0 hub.
This as a USB 3.0 gets the job done reasonably well - I've installed it underneath my desk and wired it so it connects to the back of my PC.
My favourite feature of this is the fact that it gets the job done at its "Ultra Slim" shape, this in comparison to other USB hubs I've owned fitted perfectly underneath my desk without looking out of place.
