A Simple Act That Spreads Love, Respect and GratitudeReviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 March 2017
There was a time when this was something children and adults always done - they thanked their benefactor. Who, even in these days of plenty, wants to keep giving to an ungrateful person. A simple 'Thank you', the simplest of acknowledgements of another's efforts on your behalf, can, quite literally, change YOUR whole life. I tried it and it certainly gave an extra buzz to the people who love me and wanted to please me with their gifts at Christmas and my birthday. Even a card flopping through the letter box of a kind relative or long-standing friend will make their day - or their week. They spread smiles, love and gratitude the old fashioned way and it certainly does beat emails and Facebook memes with cartoon hearts.

'Thank you'Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 July 2017
At yet another difficult point in my life this book and I cannot even recall how I came to know about it, fell through my letterbox this afternoon. Hours later I have read it from cover to cover, I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with a beautiful yet simple message. Only one other book had such a profound effect on me and appeared when I needed it. This book is truly a gift.

Different from what I expected.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 March 2018
Not quite what I expected, but probably ok if I get time to read it.
Moving tale about a middle aged guy and his working lifeReviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 March 2015
Moving book. Well worth a read. Whilst it might appear as another self development manual I'd just read it like a story/ diary and it is enjoyable. Acting out the philosophy this books suggests is simple.

Get it, read it, pass it on!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 April 2012
I bought this book as a present for my sister who is keen on thank you letters! I read it before giving it to her (it was not her birthday or anything!), and was consumed by it. I stayed up all night, and could not put it down. This is a life-changing book! Get it now!
